Lab Day 1

Solderless Breadboards, Open-circuits and Short-circuits Lab

In this lab, we examined the connections between different holes from the breadboard using an ohmmeter.

 1. Measuring the resistance between two holes in the same row.
 2. Measuring the resistance between two holes opposite sides of channel.
 3. Measuring two arbitrary holes in the breadboard.
4. Measuring between holes connected by a jumper wire.

Conclusion: These were the answers that we got from measuring the resistances 1-4. When the resistance is close to 0, it is short circuit for example #1 and #4. When the resistance is infinite, it is open circuit for example #2 and #3.
